Patients come in all shapes and sizes – and names! And some of those names can be quite similar, especially if you have a large panel with dozens of Johns, Janes, Smiths, Smits, Browns, and Brauns. To help you make sure you’re looking at the correct patient’s chart, we’ve made some improvements to our similar name identifier.
Currently, when you’re looking at the chart of a patient that has a similar name to another patient, we’ll notify you on the off chance that you’re looking at the wrong chart.
Now, you can click on the notification (the large red exclamation point next to a patient’s name) and we’ll show you a list of patients with similar names so that if you were on the wrong chart, you can find your way to the correct one.
If you have any questions about the similar name identifier, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at support@atlas.md.
