Writing prescriptions is essential to patient care, but entering the same directions and reasons over and over can be tedious. That’s why we’re introducing AI Rx Directions—a powerful (and optional) feature designed to streamline the process and save you time.
With AI Rx Directions, Atlas.md intelligently suggests usage instructions and reasons for prescriptions based on widely accepted prescribing standards. Once you enter the prescription amount, simply click the new AI button next to the usage instructions or reason for the prescription, and Atlas.md will suggest the most relevant options.
For example, if you prescribe a 30-day supply of Methotrexate (2.5 mg), Atlas.md might suggest:
- Usage instructions: Take six tablets once weekly with food.
- Reason for prescription: Rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, or another appropriate condition.
AI Rx Directions means fewer clicks, less typing, and faster prescriptions. It ensures you’re never starting from scratch, reduces unnecessary overhead, and empowers you to provide better care.
