What’s New in Atlas.md? Invoice Exports to CSV and Multiple Growth Chart Printing.

Can you believe that the clocks have already been set back? Instead of worrying about earlier sunsets, we’ve made the most of the extra time gained, and as a result, have two exciting feature updates to share.

Firstly, we’re introducing the ability to export Company and Patient invoices to CSV files so that they can be opened and manipulated in spreadsheet apps like Excel and Sheets.

This will make it easier to review and reconcile larger invoices, especially for companies and other big clinics.

You can export the invoice in the same way you would download or email it – in the settings menu of the invoice page.

Next, we’re introducing a way to print multiple growth charts simultaneously.

Now, instead of exporting each growth chart manually and printing them one at a time, you can export and print all available growth charts simultaneously.

Not only does this simplify a tedious process, but it saves huge amounts of time too.

If you have any questions about either of the above features, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at support@atlas.md.

What’s New in Atlas.md? Draft Widget.

Do you ever wish you could quickly jump back into a note to finish any half-finished thoughts you jotted down earlier?

We’ve got you covered.

With the new Draft Widget, you now can access recent note drafts directly on your dashboard.

Once you’ve enabled the feature from the dashboard configuration settings, you’ll be able to continue working on a draft by simply selecting it. If you find that the note isn’t exactly the magnum opus you had in mind, you can also discard it from the same menu.

You can access the full list of your drafts simply by clicking the title of the widget.

Now you will always remember to never forget another thought – no matter how half-finished it is.

If you have any questions about the Draft Widget (or any dashboard widgets), please don’t hesitate to get in touch at support@atlas.md.

What’s New in Atlas.md? Visual Charts for Lab Results Data.

Data of all kinds are interesting and beautiful.

But they’re not very useful unless you have some way of interacting with and understanding them visually. It’s like tracking your favorite stock’s performance with a list of numbers rather than a neatly-plotted graph.

To help better understand more types of data visually, we’ve introduced a way of creating charts for any imported lab results.

Now, you can generate a visual chart of the data and see how it changes over time.

If you’d like to see how a patient’s cholesterol levels are doing, for example, you can glance at a visual chart of their results and see how the levels have fluctuated over days, weeks, months, or years.

Simply head to the Vitals and Stats page of a patient’s chart and select which available lab results you’d like to see – Atlas.md will take care of the rest.

If you want to know more about how visual charts for lab results data work, check out this help article. And if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at support@atlas.md.

What’s New in Atlas.md? Assign File Inbox Item to Company.

The Files Inbox makes your clinic’s life easier by providing a quick and easy way to send attachments to your account and make them accessible to the entire practice.

For a while now, Atlas.md has enabled users to assign file inbox items to patients to keep better track of things like lab results and other external documents. Today, we’re extending that same functionality to companies.

Now, when you receive a contract, invoice, or any external document, you can assign that file inbox item to a company in the same way that you would to a patient.

Simply email files (or scan them to Dropbox or Google Drive) to your files inbox, then assign them to the appropriate company in order to keep all of your paperwork coordinated correctly.

We’re confident that this feature will help streamline processes for companies that deal with employment contracts and need to keep track of large amounts of paperwork.

If you have any questions about assigning file inbox items to companies, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at support@atlas.md.

What’s New in Atlas.md? Multiple-Choice Form Questions.

A while back we released the custom form feature that allows users to create custom forms to gather patient data. Today we’re expanding on that feature with the introduction of multiple-choice questions.

This expansion means that you can now include multiple-choice questions when building custom forms. The questions will display as a series of checkboxes that patients can mark when filling out the form.

This feature enhances the data collection process and is particularly useful for collecting information that may have more than one single answer in a form. It also makes building forms much more flexible.

If you have any questions about the multiple-choice form questions, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at support@atlas.md.

What’s New in Atlas.md? Weight and Height Information in Atlas-Issued Prescriptions.

We subscribe to the theory that the more information a doctor or pharmacist has about a particular subject or situation, the better informed their medical decisions. And so from that point of view, we’re happy to announce the addition of weight and height information on prescriptions issued through Atlas.md.

Why is this important? Well, it means both doctor and pharmacist will have all the necessary information in situations where prescriptions have to be issued, and the weight and height of a patient are important for accurately and safely dispensing medication.

There are two different ways that the height and weight information will find its way onto a prescription:

  • Users can enter the information manually when creating a prescription, or
  • Atlas.md will automatically include a patient’s height and weight from the most recent vitals reading if it’s available (you can edit this value before the prescription is issued)

Once entered, the information will appear directly on the prescription when it is printed or faxed to a pharmacy.

This is just another step we’re taking to make prescribing medication that much safer, easier, and more accurate.

If you have any questions about height and weight metrics and how they relate to prescriptions, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at support@atlas.md.

What’s New in Atlas.md? Exporting Vitals and Stats Through Export Patient Details.

It’s no secret that vitals and stats are important markers for tracking a patient’s health and wellbeing. While you’re already able to pull vitals and stats reports, with our latest update you can now export vitals and stats alongside other patient data through the Export Patient Details feature.

Once exported, it can then be interpreted and manipulated outside of Atlas.md with Excel and other spreadsheet applications.

This feature will provide you access to bigger data sets about your patients that will let you more easily see statistics and trends that require special attention. For example, you can create clusters of patients based on their BMI, age, sleep patterns, and more!

If you have any questions about exporting vitals and stats, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at support@atlas.md.

What’s New in Atlas.md? Improvements to Similar Name Identifier.

Patients come in all shapes and sizes – and names! And some of those names can be quite similar, especially if you have a large panel with dozens of Johns, Janes, Smiths, Smits, Browns, and Brauns. To help you make sure you’re looking at the correct patient’s chart, we’ve made some improvements to our similar name identifier.

Currently, when you’re looking at the chart of a patient that has a similar name to another patient, we’ll notify you on the off chance that you’re looking at the wrong chart.

Now, you can click on the notification (the large red exclamation point next to a patient’s name) and we’ll show you a list of patients with similar names so that if you were on the wrong chart, you can find your way to the correct one.

If you have any questions about the similar name identifier, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at support@atlas.md.

What’s New in Atlas.md? Macros-on-Macros for Lab Result Data.

In a previous blog post we detailed a number of improvements we made to note-taking, including the integration of macro shortcuts with lab results. Today, we’re taking that one step further with macros-on-macros for lab result data.

This feature allows you to reference specific lab result data directly from your custom macros using the new #loinc shortcut. Now, you can pull up recent, up-to-date data with one single text shortcut, without having to manually reference those observations.

You can create a custom #cholesterolresults macro, for example, and quickly incorporate lab result data into your note-taking. Atlas.md’s autocompleter will pull up the most current observations for the test according to the LOINC codes you integrated into the macro.

If you’re unfamiliar with LOINC codes, check out our help article for more details and a table with the most commonly used LOINCs.

Lab-related note-taking just got even more accessible and streamlined.

If you have any questions about how macros-on-macros work, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at support@atlas.md.

What’s New in Atlas.md? Company Branch Locations.

Good news – we’ve got another update! This latest one was designed with big clinics with practices in multiple locations in mind.

Usually, all of the companies under an account share the account’s primary location, which means that billing for those companies is assigned to that location too.

But with Company Branch Locations, you can designate a new branch location for different companies under one account.

Once you change the branch location for a company, any new charges or payments by the company will belong to the selected branch location. Any items billed before this change will remain unaltered and still belong to the main company branch.

This feature allows for more precise tracking and control of revenue and payments across different companies and branch locations. Now, when you pull reports such as the Payments Report, the Charges per Location report, and the Billing History Report, any costs and revenue will be clearly organized according to the branch location that processed them.

This also makes it much easier to reconcile payouts and assign billing to different bank accounts and companies based on their location.

If you have any questions about company branch locations, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at support@atlas.md.
