The next installment of the Atlas MD podcast is now available on iTunes. You can stream it here. Drs. Josh and Doug drove out to Kansas City last week where they spoke both at a private clinic, as well as on the campus of a local medical school. Some of the students had visited Atlas MD recently, so it was a chance for them to follow-up with new questions. Doug and Josh were impressed how these MBA and D.O. students were already so attuned to the business aspects of medicine.
In the past weeks, national organizations have been reaching out to Atlas MD to discuss the viability of the direct care model. Market analysts are keeping a keen eye on it, with some speculating it could be a billion-dollar industry in the near future.
Make sure to listen to this week’s new episode. The team’s excited about the upcoming launch of direct care’s exclusive EMR, Atlas.md. It’s designed to work FOR doctors, with the space to let them tell meaningful stories about their patients, not just check boxes and fill out meaningless forms. With automated billing, invoices, credit card payments, reminders, and more, docs can focus on caring for patients, reduce staffing needs, and minimize paperwork. On top of that, the pharmacy features e.g. prescription inventory, label printing, and more, open up new possibilities for serving patients, and making money.
